Paul Smith

I stumbled across Paul Smith's designs in a magaizine. The UK designer seems to have stumbled across a trunk of his Nanna's old lovables and made them into a range!

There were croched blacket-ish looking outfits as well as these gorgeous knits, along with the very modest florals that I'm sure I've seen in my Nan's wardrobe.

I think it's a good take on the vintage but not vintage look. You know, looks vintage, but it's brand spankin' new...

He can do no wrong

Every designer usually has a couple flops but Christian Laboutin just can't do ugly!



Adrian Hailwood

Whilst browsing through NZ fashion week shots I came across Adrian Hailwood.

I love his work, and it's great to see such variety in each range.

He's not afraid of colours and his summer designs are just gorgeous.

These are a mixture of his summer and winter ranges.

The last dress is my favourite, it's just so wonderfully feminine!!

Alice McCall

Australian Alice McCall, a former designer for Sass & Bide has a gorgeous FW10 collection!

And has also just released two Spring Summer collections which are equally as exciting!

Her designs are super wearable  and fun :)

Definitely on my wish list!

Forever New

I've been working for Forever New for almost a month now, in the QA department.

And I'm so excited to see the shots of the latest collection!

The play suits are goreous! And trust me, there's more to come!

I think my favourite is the playsuit in the third photo, will definitely be grabbing that one!

Jeremy Scott

Jeremy Scott,

well known for designing for Adidas,

is always hilarious and witty with his designs.

It's nice to see someone that doesn't take themselves so seriously, I think it lightens up the fashion world with just a touch of comedy!

Oscar De La Renta

It's nice to see some one choosing their models by something other than tall and sickly thin.
Oscar De La Renta has chosen girls with gorgeous faces, who actually have a little (tiny) bit of shape to them!

His resort range is just so classy, and he hasn't conformed to this whole "minimalist" thing - girls are allowed to be girly!

This next one makes me think of a Disney princess!

Anna Sui's latest collections.

It makes me happy to see designs that are so wearable, I think it changes your feelings from something along the lines of "Oh it's so beautiful, but I could never get away with that" to "I want it!!"

Her Fall collection would be great for Melbournes chilly weather at the moment, and it's something different from all the black you see on the streets right now.

A fantastic salon, soon to be sponsoring Miss Lyndel Yeo's event in August.

They're "constantly on the move to bond fashion and hair" and have previously sponsored the Melbourne Festival of Racing Futurity Stakes Race.

Looking at their site, they have wonderfully put up current styles, along with whats involved (cut, colour and styling costs) which I think is fantastic for those that hate hidden costs (like me!).

The 2010 photo shoot also looks amazing!
