Paul Smith

I stumbled across Paul Smith's designs in a magaizine. The UK designer seems to have stumbled across a trunk of his Nanna's old lovables and made them into a range!
There were croched blacket-ish looking outfits as well as these gorgeous knits, along with the very modest florals that I'm sure I've seen in my Nan's wardrobe.
I think it's a good take on the vintage but not vintage look. You know, looks vintage, but it's brand spankin' new...

He can do no wrong

Ah I'm in love!
The first Gingham pumps are delightful!!!
Every designer usually has a couple flops but Christian Laboutin just can't do ugly!

Netball

I've agreed to play in my sisters netball team tonight, and as i was thinking of my unshaven legs I realised...
There's just no way to be sexy whilst playing huffing and puffing on a Netball court!
I either have the option of showing my reflective white legs, or being a complete dork and wearing leggings or high socks!
Not to mention my face will probably be red as a tomato within the first 10 minutes!
Oh well, there's just no helping it!

Adrian Hailwood

Whilst browsing through NZ fashion week shots I came across Adrian Hailwood.
I love his work, and it's great to see such variety in each range.
He's not afraid of colours and his summer designs are just gorgeous.
These are a mixture of his summer and winter ranges.
The last dress is my favourite, it's just so wonderfully feminine!!

Thomas Sabo

My friend was recently looking for a new watch and she told me about this guy, Thomas Sabo.
His sterling silver wear meshes chunky, and slightly bad-ass jewellery with class.
There's also plenty of bling in there too!
I love that he pulls this off with out a hint of "tacky".
Great stuff.

Thursday!

I made it to work!
Only takes a whole 2 hours, and I have to say I'm getting sick of doing it every day!
Oh Thursday!
Much better than Wednesday, being so because it's one step closer to my snow adventure this week end!!!

Alice McCall

Australian Alice McCall, a former designer for Sass & Bide has a gorgeous FW10 collection!
And has also just released two Spring Summer collections which are equally as exciting!
Her designs are super wearable  and fun :)
Definitely on my wish list!

Tim Burton

I went to the Tim Burton exhibition on Saturday with my Mum and friend :)
It was awesome, now I just want to sit at home and watch all his old movies again!
I was also surprised to find that he did alot of movies I wouldn't have expected like Planet of the Apes, he was a puppeteer in one of the muppets movies and a cartoonist for Fox and the Hound!

I love love love all his creepy sketches and big monsters. And we got to see alot of cool costumes; Catwoman, Edward Scissor Hands, Alice in Wonderland and Sleepy Hollow :)

What a great Sunday!

Birthday Fun!

The lovely lovely birthday girl!
Happy 21st Birthday Natalie!
We all had a great time, and so much fun with all our friends!
She looked super sexy in her little black dress, and I got to wear my new floral dress and pink peep toes from work!

What a fantastic night :)

Macchu Pichu - The Inca trail

Here are some pics from our Inca trail hike to Macchu Picchu with the family and our Irish friends Harry and Miranda!
Best experience, we're so lucky to have done it and definitely recommended to all.
Plus it is an awesome work out for the body!

Forever New

I've been working for Forever New for almost a month now, in the QA department.
And I'm so excited to see the shots of the latest collection!
The play suits are goreous! And trust me, there's more to come!
I think my favourite is the playsuit in the third photo, will definitely be grabbing that one!

Cusco!

So after Argentina we went on to Cusco in the lovely country of Peru and here's some of the snaps we got along the way.
There were lots of markets for shopping which means.. lots of bartering!!
It's such a lovely part of the world, and the people there are great...
However the most breath-taking part was definitely the mountains!

Jeremy Scott

Jeremy Scott,
well known for designing for Adidas,
is always hilarious and witty with his designs.
It's nice to see someone that doesn't take themselves so seriously, I think it lightens up the fashion world with just a touch of comedy!

The next lot is from one of his collections called "food fight"
Can you guess why!?!

Alphabet soup anyone?
